Enkidu Explorations for Gay Men 2004 

If you would like a really  unique holiday experience in Mexico, and would like to go in the company of other gay men, this might be the right place for you. We have designed this club because we frequently receive inquires from single gay travellers who would really like to participate in an Enkidu Exploration or an Enkidu Adventure, but think it might be fun to travel with a small group of like minded people.

 

This club is intended as a meeting point for people interested in meeting other people for travel. The participants as well as the guides  in our Eye-Opening Programs represent many nationalities and cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Participation in one of our explorer groups is a great way of making new friends from many places around the world. We have guides speaking the following languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Portuguese and Nahuatl. 

 

By joining the Enkidu Explorer Club, participation in an Enkidu Exploration or an Enkidu Adventure might become more fun, more affordable and exiting. 

So far this year, we have scheduled 4 Enkidu Explorations. Each exploration will last between 5 and 7 days and  be lead by 2 guides, in most case one Native guide with background from the region and one anthropologist, archeologist or historian conducting research in the area. This combination gives the participants a unique opportunity to develop an in depth understanding of local culture and history from two very different perspectives during the exploration. Participation in these programs is therefore a unique experience on many levels, and you will have privileged access to a Mexico that few other visitors get to know during their stay.

We usually have a maximum of 5 participants per guide. An Enkidu Exploration with 2 guides will therefore have a maximum of 10 participants. This allows for flexibility and improvisation regarding schedules and itineraries and a deep immersion into the ancient and contemporary worlds we set out to explore. An Enkidu exploration has little in common with conventional sightseeing or tourist bus tours. We do not make you run from attraction to attraction all day, in and out of the bus. We give you time to reflect, enjoy, smell and taste. 

 

In addition to the scheduled Enkidu Explorations, we arrange explorations at any time throughout the year for individual travellers or small groups. An Enkidu Exploration can be done at any time of the year for small groups or individual travellers and can be tailored to fit your interests, schedules and priorities to the largest possible extent. If you would like us to design an exploration for you, we recommend you to fill in this form. Here you can provide as much information as you want. Based in the information you provided in the form, one of our travel or adventure consultants will design a preliminary program with some suggestions and options for you within 48 hours. After hearing your reactions and comments, we will design a final program for your stay.  

 

If you would like to join an Enkidu Exploration for gay men, but you would like to be part of a little group, you may send us an e-mail telling us something about yourself, things you would like to see and experience in Mexico and indicate when you will have an opportunity to be in Mexico and for how long. When someone else with similar interests writes to us and has the opportunity to participate in an exploration during your stay, we will contact you again and start the preparations for an Enkidu Exploration.
